How to book Majuli Ferry Ticket online

 After the tragic story of 8 sept 2021 alots of changes can be observed in IWT( inter water transport) services by govt of assam between majuli and Jorhat. After that they all single engine ferries were barred from operation. Which were in operation from the day I remember. In those ferries I always carried my life in the nip of a knife. Many a times I with my fellow passengers were saved from accidents. Now as they are stopped and ropex and ro ro ferry cum river ships are in action people are relieved but at what cost they have to wait in the line from 3 am in the morning to catch the 8 ferry. Which has a capacity of 180 passengers, 60 bikes and 6 four wheelers with 15 tonnes of carrying capacity.

Now with the new initiatives taken by govt of assam a new portal for booking of ticket has released.
